HOUSE RULES

 

 

Rule 1.  Under the direction of the Aerie, the Board of Trustees shall have control of the Aerie home and self-employ, discharge and have control of all employees of the buffet and social room.

 

Rule 2.  Under the direction of the Aerie, the buffet and social room shall be under the direction of the Board of Trustees.  The Board of Trustees shall direct the opening and closing hours to be of such that they are compatible with existing State of Nebraska and City of Nebraska City laws and conditions within the community to wit:

 

Monday & Tuesday                                        CLOSED

 

Wednesday thru Friday                                  4:00pm to 1:00am

 

Saturdays and/or special events:                    4:00pm to 1:00am

 

Sundays:                                                         CLOSED

 

Rule 3.  Intoxication, indulgence in profane language, vile or boisterous conduct on the part of members within the home is strictly prohibited.  Violation by any member of this rule shall require the Board of Trustees to prefer charges against such member at the next regular meeting of the Aerie for conduct unbecoming of an Eagle.

 

Rule 4.  The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for the preservation of orderly and gentlemanly conduct of all members and guests in the Buffet and Social Rooms and said Board shall have the power to deny Buffet and Social Room privilege for a period of 30, 60, or 90 days to any member who has violated the house rules.

 

Rule 5.  The Stewart in charge has been delegated by the Board of Trustees to fully enforce the House Rules.

 

Rule 6.  Any member delinquent in his dues shall be denied all Buffet and Social Room  privileges.

 

Rule 7.  Any member who destroys or damages any property belonging to the Aerie and refuses to, or fails to pay the full value thereof, will have charges filed against him.

 

Rule 8.  No article or property belonging to the Aerie shall be taken from the premises, except in the interest of the Aerie and only upon the written consent given by the majority of The Board of Trustees.  Such articles must be specified as to it content and the date of removal and date set for the return of such articles.

Rule 9.  Members attending dances, meetings, or special events shall be attired in proper dress befitting to the occasion.

 

Rule 10.  Children will be admitted to the Club Rooms when accompanied by their parents up to the hour of 9:00pm.  Special nights for hours of children will be by special notice.  Parents will be responsible for the conduct of their children.

 

Rule 11.  All guests must be introduced to the Stewart on duty and the member presenting the guest responsible for his/her conduct.

 

Rule 12.  It shall be the duty of the Board of Trustees, to direct the custodian to keep the Aerie property in clean, attractive, and sanitary condition.  The custodian must conduct the affairs in the courteous, proficient, and businesslike manner.  Every member is enjoyed to help the custodian to keep the Aerie home in a neat and attractive appearance.

 

Rule 13.  Section 62.3 of the Statues F.O.E. will be rigidly enforced.  Offenses against the laws of the Order shall include but shall not be limited to: Any conduct unbecoming of an Eagle, which shall include any violations of House or Club rules and personal conduct likely to bring disgrace upon the Order.
